Church Vision

"And the Lord answered me, and said, WRITE THE VISION and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie; though it tarry, wait for it; because IT WILL SURELY COME, IT WILL NOT TARRY." (Habakkuk 2:2-3 KJV)

Our vision for the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church is very simple. It is to see: God raise up a great, strong local church, which emphasizes preaching and teaching the word of God, salvation and liberation of the whole man. To bring praise and glory to God, and to fulfill His will and purposes.

This Vision includes:
  • SEEING the restoration of people's lives. Seeing the church provide services and support that will uplift the family and strengthen the community.
  • SEEING a body of believers who are committed to growth in the word of God through a commitment to Bible Study and Sunday Church School.
  • SEEING a body of believers continually growing in worship, experiencing the presence of God in their midst. This includes everyone in the body worshipping, in addition to special music, drama, choirs and groups to minister unto the Lord and to the people.
  • SEEING people's lives enriched through seminars on marriage, communication, finances and other important subjects; prayer for healing and deliverance, counseling and love.
  • SEEING the body embrace cultural symbols and affirm the African/Black presence in the Bible.
  • SEEING the Word of God taught and preached; making strong, triumphant believers, who can live victoriously in today's society, having such an impact on our community that they bring many to the Lord and see them added daily to this body.
  • SEEING families united, cared for, and trained in the church through the Board of Christian Education, a Bible School, and a vibrant ministry to youth, young adults, and . eing the need for a strong emphasis on making disciples of men and developing a rites of passage to bring boys to manhood.
  • SEEING people prosper financially through understanding of and obedience to the teaching of God's Word concerning prosperity and stewardship.
  • SEEING individuals reach their full potential in God, being trained and encouraged in their ministry to exercise their spiritual gift(s) for the edification of the Body of Christ.
  • SEEING ministries, teams, missionaries, and finances sent out to the whole earth to preach the unsearchable riches of Christ.
  •
