Community

Manager: Cherre L. Ogden
New Hope's community ministries coordinate programs and provide financial support to the people of the greater Jersey City area, with a strong emphasis on hands-on activities that improve the lives of those in need.

Day Care Nursery

Open on Sundays @ 11:00am Children ages 3 years and under
New Hope considers the nursery to be an important area of ministry, both for the parent and the child. Our nursery is staffed with caring adults who provide a safe and secure environment conducive to the child's physical, social and spiritual growth. When you are confident in leaving your baby in the care of our staff, then you are able to worship with a sense of security. We have taken great care to prepare our nursery rooms to be the best environment for your baby with age appropriate toys and an opportunity to interact with others.

Math Academy

Math Academy is comprised of local volunteers to tutor children in the community who need to strengthen math skills and help them achieve a higher level of learning. The program is free for the student participants.

Prison Re-Entry

Cherre L. Ogden Membership is open
The New Jersey prison system is facing challenges that can only be addressed with the help of the local church. Successful community reintegration is extremely challenging. As a result, communities are unhealthy, families are broken and the need for foster care is increasing. We, as a church, are strategically positioned to influence the condition in which people return to our communities. The Prison Ministry at New Hope Church is unique in that we take the New Hope Sunday Service experience inside to lead men and women into a growing relationship with Christ.
